Version 5.5 Book BOGO Extended + $5 to Haiti
While many of us in the US were still recouperating from the holiday season and “settling in” to the new year, Jan. 12th was a day devastation hit Haiti. News traveled fast, and those of us with Hatian friends and neighbors tried to find the right words of comfort. One of my neighbors, as of late Wednesday, still doesn’t know the fate of her mother, who lives right near the turmoil. Personally, all I can do is keep her and her family in my thoughts, with great hope of survival.
Via business, though, we can all do more. That’s why, through Jan. 31, 2010, every order that includes an order for the Version 5.5 Printed Book (on it’s own or with the ebook), we will be donating $5 to the Salvation Army to assist with their efforts to provide food and comfort to those in need. I selected the Salvation Army for a simple reason—I’ve seen what they do. My parents-in-law have traveled around the US helping victims of hurricanes and blasts, serving up food in the most devestating conditions. They’ve shared many stories as well, and they all have touched my heart. My husband and I bell-rang this year, and there’s just something special about taking even the smallest step to help someone.
So, if you’ve been procrastinating about truly learning how to use Miva Merchant version 5.5 to it’s extent, a better deal won’t come around. Buy one, get a second for just a penny, and help those in need. I’ll be tracking the status if this personally and will post receipts received from the Salvation Army next weekend.
