Getting on a Plane…
Today I hop a plane back to part of my roots in Virginia. I’d lived in the mountains there years ago, and having been in Florida the past four years, I need a break from all the palm trees. So I’ll be working from remote through Saturday–putting my handy Treo to the real test.
Hopefully I’ll get some play time in while I’m there, and hopefully the printer won’t call with some fiasco with the files.
Last night I got my first real sleep in weeks–I’d been working feverishly on final touches on the book. I’m feeling a little guilty that the animals here have tolerated the office door closed all this time and now I won’t be here at all for them the rest of the week.
I could use a break from the house, too. My husband is directing a film and the set was built this past weekend–in our house. So the living area is quite amiss right now. (That’s my In-Laws working on the film set.)
Hopefully I’ll get a chance to get some nice pics over the next days–if so I’ll post them for your perusal.
