About Us...

DesignExtend.com's parent is Media Service Innovations, Inc., a full-fledge media company providing solutions in e-commerce, web development, publishing and creative design. Formerly known as Media Services Int'l, Inc., the company was domesticated to Florida and got a facelift in September 2007. Since 1995 MSI has catered to both self-starters and established corporations.

DesignExtend.com is MSI's Miva Merchant solutions web site, featuring a team of developers, designers and coders. MSI is a certified Miva Merchant Business Partner, and a certified partner for any products sold at this site.

From across the US, we work together on projects for a vast amount of online clientele--from the working family wanting to earn a few extra dollars to the corporation seeking a better e-commerce system...to major corporations looking to market their products wisely.

We're not afraid to turn to others. We realize the most important issue is that each Miva Merchant site works for both the client and the client's customers. So we don't hesitate to work with our competing colleagues to bring a full solution to each and every one of our 5,000+ customers and 180+ retainer clients.

The DesignExtend.com Team

The DesignExtend.com Team Members work virtually, yet together (very closely, actually) to provide the most solid solutions. Each team member has expertise in certain fields, and we work seamlessly to provide the best overall service.

Pamela - She wrote the books on Miva Merchant. She designs and customizes Miva Merchant stores and supporting site content, and oversees all projects to pay focus to the most important aspect of any online store: the shoppers. Pamela also provides site analysis services and both group- and one-on-one-based training.

Pamela speaks each year at the Miva Merchant Conference.

Adam - As Lead Developer, he's the right-hand of many things. Miva Script, FLASH and PHP integration are his specialties. Adam is frequently complimented by his hands-on work with retainer clients.

Mabel - She's a specialist in graphic design. She works primarily behind-the-scenes so she can spend 100% of her time focusing on the key needs of clients, focusing on site layouts, company logos and affiliate banners.

Joe - When you call us, chances are Joe will tackle your issue. He's well versed in what Miva Merchant can and cannot do, both out of the box and via third-party plugins.

Liz - Liz specializes in editing raw video created by clients or clients' additional service providers. She uses professional editing software to cut commercials and instructional videos for both TV and the web. Commonly clients will create video for posting on sites like YouTube for marketing reasons, and Liz is a wiz at following specs, yet still maintaining creativity. Her work is done on a Mac running Final Cut Pro Studio.

Fran - Fran came on in the Fall of 2007 to give us new insight into backend operations of the company. Actually, you'll never talk to her, but she does keep us all in line!

Luray - Luray passed away Jan. 13, 2007. His memory still guides the team. He was the first to write display plugins to work with the OpenUI. He was responsible for customizing OpenUI modules for MIVA Merchant version 4, and handled a vast amount of product installations and configurations, as well as Miva Merchant upgrades. He'll always have a spot for mention on our site, because without him, we'd never be where we are today.

The rest of the crew. More than a dozen other people are at our beck and call, allowing us to provide virtually any service necessary to setup and keep open, shop on the Web.

We also maintain a database of more than 1,500 experts in various fields. We attempt, as best we can, to make recommendations based on specific needs.
