> > > > > Storefront Template This module provides you with control over the layout of your store's Storefront page (aka. the "welcome" page). It lets you directly configure the html used to display the "welcome" portion. Tokens can be used to display information for specific products. Tokens are also available to display products selected randomly from the entire store or only particular categories. Lists of products can be maintained and those products referred to in the template simply by their position in the list. This provides you with an easy way to change the products displayed simply by changing the product in the corresponding position in the list. Similarly, images can be uploaded and "stored" in lists and you can display those images (with or without a configurable link) simply by using a token which refers to the image's position in the list. Rankings of your most "viewed" and "purchased" products are maintained and the information from those products can be displayed by tokens which refer specifically to the position in the lists. So you can easily maintain lists of your "best sellers" or "most popular" products. Note about compatibility with other modules: This module totally bypasses the portion of the OpenUI (or MMUI if you are using it) that displays the "welcome" portion of the store front page and is not compatible with any other module which modifies that portion of the page unless the developer of that module has specifically made their module compatible. This module provides for an easy-to-use manner for developers to provide tokens that can be used to insert their module's HTML into the pages. And these tokens can be registered in the module's admin interface. Many of VikingCoders.com's modules are compatible with this module (ie. there are tokens that can be used to display their information on the store front page). Let us know if there are specific modules you would like to be made compatible. Another note about compatibility: This module is compatible with the OpenUI right out of the box. However, for it to be compatible with the MMUI requires a minor modification to the MMUI file (ie. mmui.mv). Go here for instructions on making that modification.
OpenUI is required for versions 4.14 and higher.
